Kaylee starts T-ball

On Tuesday, Kaylee started her first T-ball session. Luckily, her buddy Bailey is on her team, cause man there must have been 16 teams (at least) of local 4 and 5 year olds.
While having a buddy on the team might be a blessing and a curse...fun was had, but not as much paying attention to the coach as there should have been kind of thing...we're just glad Kaylee had fun.
Goofball.
Check out the concentration.
And here's the throw!
And she got a turn at bat too.
Check out that stance.
Kaylee in the outfield, kind of reminded me of how I must have looked in the outfield 25 years ago (gulp!)
Hey, she already has the concept of 'keeping the ball in front' of her down.
She really did seem to like it.

The kids were learning the order of the bases. Hysterical! The coaches took them all around the bases a couple of times, explaining which base was which. Then they started at home plate and coach Bill says, "Ok everyone, run to first" And they all scattered every which way!
Since Kaylee had her pal Bailey, that means Rowan had her pal Shelby in the stands.
Thick as thieves and cute to boot.
Gotta love the best friend at age 3 thing.
Anyway, since that was just 36 hours ago and I've taken no pictures since, I consider myself up to date.

Mostly Leo Pics--backdated.

Leo already enjoys watching the occasional television show--She-Ra is in right now (woo-hoo!) as long as he gets to watch with his sister(s.)
A cute little bubbly smile.
The smile reaches the eyes...and the tongue.
This was a really great smile, I am not sure you can tell from the profile. His whole face lights up. He is going to be the end of me, that smile means, 'anything you want, kid. Mama is done.'
My smiley little Lion Man.
My first 'success' in capturing a Leo smile...its difficult to hold him, make him smile and take the picture all at the same time. However, at least the essence was captured.
The swing is the thing. He loves it as much as Kaylee did...Rowan, not so much.
This is backdated, because all of these pictures were taken in April, going to try to get a quick May one up as well.

snow in April!

April 1st and we got about 8 inches of snow!! But it was the perfect snow for snowmen...the girls made their first (and last) snowman of the season. Food coloring made the facial features.
It was warm enough that even Rowan enjoyed playing in the snow. Previously, she had done minimal snow-play, not a fan of the cold.
Leo is officially 2 months old, as of April 11th.
Touchdown!
Less than 2 weeks after snow, its warm enough for sundresses. You have to love New England.

Rowan loves her rainbow dress.

Another good picture of Kaylee...can it be true?
cutie!
Life is pretty busy these days. I'll try to do more pictures soon.

St Patty's Day and Leo meets his great-grandfather.

OK, so St. Patty's Day...the girls actually fit into the same shirts as last year, so yay, thrifty Mommy saves some money:)
Kaylee doesn't mind modeling her Irish.
Nor does Rowan.
Leo's St. Patty's Day shirt says: Handsome Irish Boy.
And he loves his swing...yay!
Kaylee takes another decent pic this month while playing with playdough...which somehow manages to always find its way back into the house despite being banned at least 10 times.
The Lion Man in his Lion PJs...in his bouncy seat.
Lion PJs for the Little Lion Man.
Our little cutie.
Check out how alert this one is at only 5 weeks!
Kaylee plays the part of a caterpillar emerging from her cocoon.
Leo meets his great-grandfather.
And here we have it, 4 generations of Gifford Men.
And there's your dose:) Ciao.

Mardi Gras and a few other cute pics.

The girls made Mardi Gras masks at a MOMS Club event and continued the celebration at home.
Rowan was particularly proud of her mask. She continually jumped out at me and said: Boo! And then she pulled her mask up and said, "its only Rowan Mommy, its just me!" Seriously, at least 20 times...in a row.
Kaylee made a mask too and strutted around for a while.
Look! Look! Look! I took a great picture of Kaylee! This has not happened in a VERY long time. Kaylee is a beautiful little girl, and I get passable pictures on a regular basis, but you have no idea how many I delete because they are just plain old BAD; but this one, this one, I LOVE.
This one isn't that bad either, but still only passable.
Rowan, on the other hand, is a camera ham. I don't seem to have trouble getting pics of her to come out well.
Check out that expression!
A kiss for baby Leo when we broke out his baby gym.
He was captivated for a few minutes...
but then, well...you decide if he liked it or not.
That's all for now.
