Changes

Alright folks

Its time to admit, my interest in the blog has clearly...lets use the word: diminished.

So--I'm making some changes.

This blog is, as of this posting declared dead!

Its time for some change...I am not a "New Mommy" anymore.

So, if you're still interested in following my new take on the blog...change your bookmark to:

http://notjustthekids.blogspot.com/

That's where I'll be from now on...and hopefully, I'll be there a lot more often than I had been here lately.

Ciao!

November, the first half-ish!

Alright, so first things first: Leo is officially 9 months old~!
Time flies--check out that face, what the?!?! Its an imp!
There's that little devil's smile!
Its been mild enough this weekend to get in some outside time.
Leo loves his swing!
And we got to get in some leaf pile fun!
Who doesn't love leaf jumping?
Show me your favorite leaves, girls.
I tried to get them to pose--I am not sure why I bother sometimes.
Rowan's favorite leaf.
And at least I got a big smile from her.
Kaylee made a 'leaf-angel' in the pile.
And a smile from Kaylee too, even if she wasn't looking at the camera.
Ditto Leo.
Even babies love leaf piles.
Again, not sure why I bother trying to pose them and get them all to look sometimes...

Today we did a Thanksgiving Tree craft project. The 3 things I am most thankful for are in the picture above--but the girls had a blast making the tree.
We gathered some sticks from the yard and then I used some fall-colored paper and my Cricut to cut out some leaves and we wrote down things, people and places we are thankful for.
The girls were so proud--super easy and very cute project that will be on display for a while in our home.
And that brings us up to date:)

Sometimes I help Kaylee with her homework...and sometimes, I don't!

Quick Catch Up

Alright, here are a whole bunch of pics for you!
Kaylee's very first real school picture.
And here...is the cutest stinkin' lion...ever...period. Just sayin'.
Our MOMS Club had our annual Trunk-or-Treat today...Leo did amazingly well, considering he was probably quite bored...and a trifle chilly. Although, the lion costume is plenty warm.
Kaylee and Rowan between the trunks.
And before they had to don their coats...
Get it, Dorothy, a lion, the witch---Daddy and I were to be the Tin Man and the Scarecrow, but I just couldn't quite muster the time and energy to get that together.
She won't say: "I'll get you my pretty." But, she does say: "And your little dog too!"
Strike a pose Dorothy.
And here is the cutest stinkin' pumpkin...ever...period. Just sayin'.
2 weekends ago we did our annual apple picking trip.
It was cold, but fun.
Our little ham.
No matching outfits this time...just matching hairstyles.
And the little man didn't get any apples, but he was a good little boy waiting while his sisters did.
There, that's a whole bunch of cute new stuff.

On the way to Spookfest

Kaylee's school has its first school/PTA-run event tonight--Spookfest. The girls got a little dressed up to go have some school-night fun. (Daddy is taking them, I am staying home with Leo--bad enough to screw up their bedtimes, not doing it to the baby!)
Kaylee is thrilled to show off her school to Rowan and Daddy and even more thrilled that her shirt glows in the dark!
Rowan's shirt glows in the dark as well--what do you think she thinks of that?
Sorry I haven't been posting here very much--find me on Facebook, the amount of pictures I post there is likely somewhat annoying!

Leo is 8 months old!

So, I have a lot of Disney picture sorting to do that I will get to at some point--but to stay current, yesterday a certain little Lion turned 8 months old!
He really likes to play with the sign, I may need to upgrade to cardboard for the 9month picture.

Also--Rowan doesn't need to nap anymore--she told me so! (Meanwhile I took this picture about 2 minutes ago--she's in the recliner, snoring, literally.
More to come...later.
