Pool Days

Yesterday, all of us packed ourselves up and headed over to the Levy's house.
While the Mommies and Daddies made some last minute preparations, Kaylee and Emily chased each other around a bit.
And since the Mommies and the Daddies still weren't quite ready, Emily showed Kaylee her secret stash of toys from her Mommy's cabinet...tupperware.
"It's very versatile," explains Emily, "but I like it best as a drum."
Finally we were ready to head over to the pool. Kaylee and Emily wasted no time, into their matching floats they splashed. Emily and Kaylee looked at us all like the silly parents we are as we spent the next 15 minutes taking pictures in the water.
I even snuck a picture of everyone at the same time--you can see Jackie still taking pictures of the girls.
Then we took turns photographing the separate families...nothing like an underwater family portrait I always say.
We got pictures both in and out of the float!
The girls were great in the water and finally after about 45 minutes we headed back to the apartment for some lunch, napping (for the girls), movie watching (for the boys), and of course, scrapbooking (for the moms.)
Refreshed, after their nap, the girls wasted no time playing together again, here we have a nice little game of tug-o-war going on.
And several moments later...Kaylee has declared victory. Actually I have no idea what was going on this picture...I was scrapbooking at the time, Daddy was on camera duty. But I thought the picture was pretty funny looking (and cute!)
We had a nice time with our friends, phew what a busy day!
