a spattering of places and pictures

woohoo, I've managed to do 2 posts this month! I am still kind of on a camera hiatus, so again not too many pictures, but certainly enough to merit a blog update.
Today was playgroup today, hosted at Emily's house. Emily's daddy, Phil, decided to read to the girls...
The girls were so enthralled that Henry soon decided to get in on the book action...as long as mommy, Christina, was close by. After all, he hasn't seen this 'Phil' person but once or twice. Kaylee on the other hand, is quite familiar with her 'uncle,' as you can see she was enjoying the reading.
On Sunday, despite being rather sick Mommy and Daddy bundled up and headed outside to do some sledding. Kaylee got a sled for Christmas from her grandmother and we just haven't used it as much as I'd have liked, so we decided to make the best of it. Besides...'how long can a toddler last in the cold snow?' we asked ourselves...
Here's once down the hill.
And again, down the hill.
Kaylee made Daddy go round the yard.
"Mush Daddy!" proclaimed Kaylee. Apparently he wasn't going fast enough for her. Hmmm...do you think Kaylee has Daddy wrapped around her little finger yet?
Last Wednesday I took Kaylee to the children's museum. We hadn't been in almost 8 weeks so it was nice to go back.
Kaylee played at the rice table for a long time, filling and dumping her little purple pail. I couldn't help but quote "Blueberries for Sal" as she individually dropped rice grains into her pail "kuplink, kuplank, kuplunk." "Now what Mommy?" inquired Kaylee, "I'm bored."
I told her to deliver the mail.
And she did.
Here's a few pictures to remind everyone that Kaylee truly is Daddy's little girl. Her favorite toy is easily his laptop. Now that she's more mobile, she scales the sofa to get to it if we're not paying close enough attention.
She is very interested in all technology: cell phones, regular phones, the television, the desktops upstairs...but there's nothing better than the laptop.
Oh...and here's a few pictures of our furbabies: Loofy is back to his playful self now that his ear has mostly healed and the bandages and cone have been removed.
We're pretty sure he's happier than Petra about this development.
That's it. If there's anything to take pictures of, I will do so and make an end of February wrap up post...but that's all I've got for now.
