1st half of May

Kaylee had a little accident at the beginning of the month resulting in 5 stitches in her little leg. (These will be removed tomorrow.) While the actual act of getting the stitches was pretty traumatic for both Kaylee and her parents, the aftermath has been pretty easy.
Yesterday we went down to CT to help Great-Grandpa Ba celebrate his 98th birthday. Kaylee posed with Auntie Abbie, who she hadn't seen since Christmas!
Ba graciously allowed Kaylee to help him blow out the candles.
Both Kaylee and Rowan really enjoyed eating the cake!
After dessert it was time for the entertainment.
Rowan played the piano...
And Kaylee showed off her ballet moves....like arabesque.
plie...
and tondue (yeah sorry for all those misspellings, I don't do French.)
Today was just too gorgeous to be couped up, so outside we went.
Rowan went for a car ride.

Kaylee and Daddy played catch.
And Kaylee went for a wagon ride.
Kaylee is taking her learning how to pump on the swings to an extreme.
Rowan likes to push the empty swing...under-dog!
I don't know if you can tell, but she is holding herself up here.
Over-exposed but still cute.
This is how Rowan lets Daddy know that the lawn needs to be mowed.
Phew, caught up :)
