June Wrap Up

On Saturday, we packed up and headed to a family reunion. Kaylee's grampy has like 30 something 1st cousins(!) so there were plenty of people to meet.
Of course, Kaylee was far more interested in the teenager technology that was to be found.
So Daddy helped Kaylee have her very first jam session.
A rockstar is born!
Here's a group shot of those present for a while. Obviously not all of Grampy's cousins could make it, but it was nice to see some faces I hadn't seen since I was...oh Kaylee's age!
Great-Grandma Chip was in attendance, so Kaylee got to catch up with her. She also got along swimmingly with her cousin Julianna, who neither of us had ever met.
Thick as thieves after only minutes...
The cuteness in the room was overwhelming, obviously I am biased, but these are 2 good-looking cousins if you ask me!
And of course, when it was time to say good bye, they did so in the traditional Italian manner.
Yesterday, Uncle Ben and Auntie Danielle came over for a long over-due visit. With Ben's help we set up our new child-proof entertainment center...and Ben then lost no time showing Kaylee how to sword fight with packing Styrofoam.
Kaylee was a quick study.
Then it was a quick tickle break...
and a quick smile for the camera...
before Kaylee and Auntie Danielle waged war on poor Uncle Ben.
I think Ben may have been sorry he taught Kaylee how to sword fight...
Then this morning we headed down to Grammy and Grampy's to visit with an old high school friend of Grammy's who was visiting from Maryland. Janet thought she might have to buy Kaylee's affection with a Little People Gift.
But as she soon found out, the way to Kaylee's heart is through reading her a book.
And that was our weekend! Omg, tomorrow is July!!!
