Kaylee has naturally memorized several books at this point...and if she hasn't memorized it, she has no problem making up a story based on her perception of the pictures she sees; so she is more than happy to read to Rowan now.
Of course, its easy to forget her pint-sized audience when she really gets into the story.
"Can you believe this service?" Rowan asked me.
That reminded Kaylee of her task...and she got back to reading the story to her sister. When Rowan reminded her that she'd like to see the pictures too...
Kaylee gave her a very close up look!
And thus ended Rowan's first storytime!

It's such a momentous day when you can switch from Board Books to Real Books, without fear that your kiddo is going to disassemble the binding with his/her "finesse"...
