3 Weeks of Rain Can Force a Mommy to Make Silly Decisions!

So...after 3 weeks of pretty steady rain, I grew tired of saying to Kaylee, "No, honey, you can't go outside. Its raining."
Instead, I said, "Sure, honey. Put on your raincoat and rain boots and go splash around." It was warm after all, she wouldn't catch a chill.
I thought she'd hate it and come inside after a minute or 2 of 'playing' in the downpour.
But she actually liked it...she she liked splashing around and her rain slicker kept her pretty dry...considering. She even proved that she could hear me by 'looking at the camera.'
She was having so much fun she even got Daddy in on the act. Note, the only real reason I could allow this to happen was because Daddy was home. Otherwise I would hardly have been able to subject Ro to the same activity, not so much for her health or safety but because she doesn't have a rain slicker and rain boots!
They were having so much fun, they even did a little rain dance.
Eventually Daddy decided he didn't want to get wet anymore. He doesn't have a cool ladybug rain gear set...so we understand. But Kaylee was not done yet....she headed over to the swing set while Daddy took some pictures from inside. Pretty wet huh?
Then we remembered we had towels to wipe the screen off with.
So these were taken from our downstairs bathroom window while Kaylee decided to "Swing in the Rain." nyut nyut nyut.
Wow, 3rd post today! Go me!

And the great part? No need to waste water on a shower for Grant for the next week or so! He looks absolutely soaked-to-the-bone!
